This is my favourite song on the cd and to me it sounds as if he's waking up in a metaphor kind of way... waking up to the fear (paranoia) and robotic lives that we live in society... and I don't mean that in an emo way... it's quite political.
The first verse says a lot of that... right away it's "paranoia's wearing thin now" and then "close my eyes, realize I've become the victimized now, desensitized now."
And then talking about "The living dead awake" meaning we're like zombies and all of a sudden we wake up to the violent ways we live and that we're exposed to without thought (desensitized). One last line that makes me think this is "something's wrong because I, find the glamour in the darkside." But it also sounds like there's more to the song, I think that's just one aspect of it... thoughts?
