I think we are dominated by a culture full of egomaniacs who think they can decide the morality of everything. But, really it all should be applied to Morality that has been here since the beginning of time. For instance, should someone (like in verse 2) who is motivated by things they can't control be held accountable for what they do, even to people they love? Morality is forever changing; especially when it is good for us.
