Does anyone else think this song in some way is referencing Mao Zedong?
I always thought it did in some way, but I couldn't really make a clear connection.

This might be a bit of a stretch:
"And though the text was failed" - most of the world didn't accept communism
"Too obvious, they said, and moved it underground" - there's still a minority people that think he was a great person (underground)
"Make me burn out like your name" - most people don't recognize Mao Zedong's name
there is actually a large underground bunker underneath Beijing that can hold like 200,000 people for a couple weeks, in case of Russia attack
