Knowing you'll always live on in a song?” Because I thought at first it meant she was talking about a friend who she wrote a song about, and then the friendship ended. But after reading your comments, all the stuff you said makes more sense. But then I do not see where that lyric fits in.
@Johnlennnnon ... Well the event is immortalized in THIS songs and a couple more on the album!! Not Ready to Make Nice talks about the incident too, and maybe another song. But this song, at least, is enough to say that about... But, who knows a song CAN have more than one significance. There's no rule against it. : )
