I don't think the ending is necessarily about being on coke. He uses the term "crush high" and it made me think of being a kid, and when you have a crush on somebody, and you get those butterflies in your stomach and your heart races around them even if nothing's going on.
So when he meets this girl, he's saying he's surprised that he feels that way around her, because he thought he had crushed all he could...etc. I don't know about the pills. I'm still thinking on that one. But I guess that's my take.
As for "I wear a coat of feelings and they are loud" those are definitely the right lyrics. You can clearly hear them in the acoustic version someone posted a link to on YouTube. I think they make a lot of sense. It's like describing colors as being loud, I like to think of the feelings as being colors on a coat, and they're bright and vibrant, etc. because he's in such a good mood around this person. As opposed to being darker or more subdued colors.
