It (to me) means you've given up, and it doesnt matter anymore what the outcome is. In his case, he's given up on life. I thought this song would best fit in the scene from harry potter 7 near the end when he's walking in the forest (no more spoilers than that). I like how he embodies death and time and such with he and she to give the impression it's an actual relationship he has with those entities. All in all, 99/100. He misses the last point cause it could have been a little bit more faster and epic, at least in a remix. But im not gonna complain.
