I think this song has alot of meaning behind it. One of my personal favorites off of that album. Basically, i think this song is about this person who has had enough of the signifacant others bullshit. They've gotten hurt so much already and they feel like it's time to move on. Realizing all the time that was wasted on that person was just not worth it to what it became to be. Now moving on is the only hope but the fact that they've been hurt so much, they have scars that will never go away. And those scars will always represent the times they spent together
