My own interepretation is that the song is about Ladytron, the band itself. They wrote it for themselves, it's a sort of selfdescription that pocesses certain self-analysis but very indifferent to the whole status quo. It's also a kind of presentation of the band and that's why I think it's the 1st song from the album, not just because it's energetic and etc. I might be completely wrong tho'.
