I love this song. So I'm guessing this is what is dad did to his mom. So at the beginning it describes them sleeping together and maybe his dad is wondering if this is what he really wanted because she's gotten pregnant and he asks himself, but he doesn't know if that's truly what he wanted to happen. So then he tells her that he loves her, even though he doesn't really know her. Like how someone doesn't really know you and then you sleep together, but then you get pregnant and so he freaks out and tries to make things better. So he tries to make her feel better and maybe keep her calm by saying that he loves her. And he's not going to run away and leave her with a baby, but he's gonna say and do whatever he can for them. And he's freaking out of course, but tries to stay calm and tells himself it's nothing. So then at the end he tells her to relax, close her eyes, take his hand and we'll be okay, they'll be home...home symbolizing a place where everything is okay. What do you think? True, I can't believe there aren't many comments on Blessthefall songs. And what's up with the double release, but the second release with the acoustic version of Rise Up... haha and on itunes, the second release has their name capitalized. I thought it was weird that they had it lowercase :p.
