i see the point that i think swnkclps is trying to make, and i agree, its the circle of life for organisms to eat other organisms. but thats not what this song is about- its the countless animals which are held captive in appalling conditions before being slaughtered. the verses clearly reflect this: 'dont you think about the pain they face just to end up on a plate...' i particularly like the line: 'If you didn't have a voice would that mean that you were worth much less than me?'- he's saying that just because the animals cant speak up and defend themselves doesnt mean that they dont have rights and deserve respect. tho im not as sure about the chorus... ill have to think harder about that one. i love the fact that darren is writing about important issues in our society- injustices that most ppl wouldnt even think twice about! its nice to know that someone cares.
