i think that the title of this song is fitted as it starts off with him liking the other fish (girl) from a distance, thinking she is too good fr him, then he gets to know her a bit and finds out that she really isn't all that great and that he deserves better. maybe, maybe not, but that's how i see it. however he still remembers at the end of the song how he felt about her at the start, ir is this him moving onto another fish??
