It's romantic that he is working in 100 degree heat on a farm for the proverbial 'evil white-man' to send money home to his senorita, but when he paints himself as a martyr and a "prisoner", that completely trivializes his gesture... When you're suffering for your lover, suck it up and don't bitch about it by calling yourself a 'prisoner'. Otherwise, you're a douche, not a hero. This song isn't romantic, it's pathetic... Either that, or it's a satire or a parody... Either way, it's got a pretty good melody...

@furi kurisu He wants to die, this song is not about being romantic, his "senorita" isn't worth it. He doesn't see his kids and his life is a hell for him and he waits for death to come. (upon a horse) The "white man" isn't the devil (if it's white) it's the senorita to whom he's a prisoner.
