This song is starting to make perfect sense, and I think it's really self explanatory when you read through the lyrics. From what I understand of it it has to do with a wolf clan and the heir of the clan is a young wolf who doesn't follow any of the traditions of the clan because he believes them to be wrong. The elders want him to see that he has a burden - to carry on the name of the clan ("B.o.B's earn the right to the name" is the most important line in the song supporting this) and that no matter what he does, it will never change ("It Won't Fade") because this is his role in life.
FWIW, The Vice has NOTHING to do with wolves or animals of any sort.
