The station landed on a show that she liked - The Jeffersons - and she told her friend she wanted to watch that. The friends dad came in, took the friend away and when they came back, he/she was crying, turned off the t.v and when Jewel asked him/her what was wrong, their responce was "I'm not allowwed to watch black people on television.
