Well I'm not completely clear on the whole song, but the verses
"I sit alone in my room
I'm so damned depressed
I reinact plays on the polo field
I've never ridden a horse
That's just the trouble with magazines
I get so involved
Recalling my days in north Africa
I've never crossed the Atlantic, yea"
Just really makes sense to me, how you can get so absorbed in the things that aren't real, stories and things like that, that it gets depressing to know that it's not actually real.
