But getting back to the point, lifeistolong was right, Lucas has said that the "I want"s are from the viewpoint of his ex. From interviews he has given, apparently they had a pretty brutal break-up. And then the "he's not listening" parts are his responses to what she is saying. From my understanding, he's saying "You can ask me back as many times as you want, but I'm not paying attention. I'll always ignore it. I'm not listening."
