This is the most beautiful Sigur Ros song, by far. It also has some of the best lyrics...they have a very clear meaning; a worship for Mother Earth.
The fact that they copied "The Lord's Prayer" and replaced all references to God with Mother Earth could either be a harmless way to make a song that praises Mother Earth or it could be a way of saying that we should worship Her and not God (or at least not the standard religious image of God). Not sure, but either way it's very inventive and effective. Maybe we, as humans on this earth, need to worship an idea of God less and the actual planet we live in more.
