I thought this song had some hedonistic messages that supposedly corrupted our youth and was a posterboard for typical rantings of conservative religious groups against damaging rock music in the 80's.
Hearing this the other day I really tried to analyze the lyrics and see what was so bad:
(Coming from a male perspective) having sex with 2 girls at the same time, or at least sexual relationships
having straight vaginal sex (world 1) plus anal sex (world 2)
"Well, there's a picture in a gallery of
A fallen angel looked a lot like you
We forget where we come from sometimes
I had a dream it was really you"
He sees a model in a porno magazine (Isn't Gallery a hustler type) and wants his girl to be like her, then meets another who is and he sometimes wants his girl that he loves to be like the one he has sex with.
I could go on... Any Van Hagar's out there with some insight
