To be dead honest (no awkward pun intended), I used to think this was a love song about a girl named Dominique who moved away and the guy and her best friend are missing her. Yeah... Right. =P
Then again, all I could understand from the words were that Dominique's gone, she's cute, and she took a stroll. How rare.
I'm torn between the two ideas that it's suicide or murder. Automatically, I would assume suicide... but the clues seem to hint more to murder. I think that she was suicidal enough to begin with so they killed her off... and nobody would think much of it because, hey, she was suicidal already, right? ;)
