This song is just beautiful... Really.. I can't believe it hasn't got more comments. I'm OBSESSED with this song. I think it's about an ex-love of his that he still thinks about, whether she does or not. Mostly he is OK, but sometimes he can't get her out of his head and it hurts.. It's exactly how I feel about my ex. I love "I will lay my head and rest my feet, and dream of older days when we were young and free" because that means when he has some quiet time, she is the first thing that comes to him... And he remembers how in love they were. It's beautiful.
