This song is about taking it all back to the roots of rock and roll, the unspoilt places where those great names come from. Apparently, it was inspired by some fat-cat producer who wanted them to just play straight forward, Chuck Berry style rock and roll, to take it back to their roots. Obviously, they weren't keen on that idea, and he never became their producer, but this song is the love-child of the meeting.

@RJCallinan That "fat-cat producer" was Malcolm McLaren, the same guy who managed and manufactured the Sex Pistols. But yeah, definitely glad they didn't listen to him.
