Can's music has very few affectations, so I find it odd to compare them to the highly self-conscious Radiohead. Also, their music is all flex and sinew: the improvisation is of a very high standard. Radiohead's music seems much more composed.
When I first heard Can I thought that Suzuki had told the band that he knew English but really didn't, so he made use of what little he knew and faked the rest. Great singer though.
