I think the first few lines are about the band being a bit immature when they first started out.
"I used to check my reflection, Jumping with my cheap guitar."
Talking about how they where too concerned with their image and showmanship, and not enough with their music. But now they're a little bit older and a little bit wiser.
"I must of lost my direction, 'cause I ended up a super star."
Saying that even though they were a bit misguided with the image concerns and what not, they still made it and become a famous band. In this case, they lost their direction, but the original direction was a bad one anyway, so it was a good thing.
"One night I's in the board room affected by the human race"
Possibly a line about how the music industry and the suits at the label still have influence over their music, though they're a bit more aware of it now.
"You can learn from my mistake "
Possibly saying to up and coming musicians that they need to remember to make the music, not their image, first.
"but your posing in my glass again"
No idea. Pete's an odd one.
Now, that's just my interpretation of this verse, out of context. I read somewhere Pete said the song is mostly about "the demands of new friendship" and that the aggressive way Roger sang really changed the way the song is perceived, and that doesn't really fit with my interpretation to well, but hey, whatever.
One of the greatest bands ever. Period.
