i think its about a couple whos relationship is like falling apart,
and he's just trying anything to keep the relationship going .
even though he realises its over
because she doesnt think they have anything in common anymore,
and the "world has come between" them,
he still wants to be with her,
so he just keeps singing about breakfast at tiffanys,
which is a film they both liked.
