I think the lyrics posted here are incorrect... or I might be listening to the wrong version of the song. Really, I couldn't do any better, because Numan's voice can be hard to understand at times.

The first verse is right, but the second I don't recognize at all, and there is a completely different verse that I do remember: "There is no longer any normal to be/ You're my assassin but you can't see the crime/ Pointless possessions of me and you and greed/ I looked at you mistaking needles for eyes." Several additional verses, different arrangement, different melody (except for a few fragments in common), much slower and less dancey.
