At her concert, Brandi mentioned that she wrote this song in response to a tour where she "didn't feel like the audience was listening to her." She was kind of bummed about it, and this song was the result of that. I'm pretty sure I was actually at that other concert she was referencing. The audience definitely was BEYOND disrespectful (she was the second opening act) and when she went to the back of the venue for the signing part, she did seem bummed. I'm glad she got more love on her second trip through my state.
