Surgery- A few months back my dad sat me down to talk to me and actually kind of blindsided me with the fact that he was diagnosed with cancer. He was diagnosed 6 months before he told me, but he wanted to wait until he knew he was going to have to have surgery to tell me because he didn't want me to have to be scared if he could avoid it. And I'm not the best at talking about how I feel so I locked myself in my room for a while and ended up writing surgery about this. It's sort written as my mom, who passed away two years ago, and dad talking to eachother. It's about how he was promising her he'd be okay, the way he promised me.
