This song is so powerful to me... It had just come out and was getting lots of radio play... I loved the song, but it was just another song to me... Then one day I got a call out of the blue from a friend who told me to come see her in the hospital.
I went to visit her, not knowing what to expect. When I got there, I got filled in on the details... My friend Angie had been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. She was 23 years old, and was going to die of this terrible disease. On the way home, this song came on the radio, and I was so overcome by it that I had to pull over and compose myself to finish my drive home.
I'm not a terribly spiritual person, but I really think I was guided to this song, to give me some perspective and comfort to deal with the death of my friend.
I'm amazed that this song only has one comment...

Rest in Peace Angie. We still love you.
