It kills me when she sings, "I'm only staying because I will wait for love." Essentially, I think she's staying in a bad relationship because she hopes that the tenison will eventually turn into affection...that if she waits long enough, love will bloom...but we all know it's a lost cause, which makes the song so much more poignant.
