I love this song. Can't believe no one else has commented on it.
I feel like it's about an unhealthy relationship...one centred around sex. The speaker is confusing sex with love, and though the good in the relationship outweighed the bad, they still feel like they need the person.
Of course there are OBVIOUS slave/master undertones as well, but hey ^~
