to me, it talks about this guy being in love with this girl who just doesn't know what to do anymore & has all these different thoughts. "tired of never knowing where to stand" i think that the girl never knows what to do or say about things anymore. & finally, he's had enough of waiting for her to come around & realize what she wants.
either way, i fell in love with this song.
