The Seven Angels are the seven main characters in the story; Gabriel, Elderane, Regrin, the Pope, Jakob, Falk and Johann. Armageddon is coming, as the wrath of God reigns down upon them. As judgement day approaches:

Gabe notes that he’s done nothing wrong, and is confident he’ll go to heaven.

The Pope realizes he’s sinned, and wonders if he’ll go to hell.

Johann, like the Pope, asks if he’ll die because they lost the seal. Yes, he’s still worried about that.

Jakob begins to wonder if they were supposed to lose the seal. If that was the point. Maybe they did the right thing, and will go to heaven after all?

Lugaid tells us throughout that this isn’t the coming of God. If only they knew that…

The Voice (presumably God) then speaks to them all, telling them to be ashamed for coveting things that belonged to him. He tells them to being back ‘what is his’ (the seal? Or simply their faith in him?), or face the consequences.

After hearing the Voice, Gabe tells his life story. He was confused by everyone telling him what to believe, until he decided to give up on it all. He escaped to Avantasia to help the elves and dwarves, who made him think about life even more. He has nobody left in the real world, other than Anna.

He’d been alone until the Druid came. Lugaid taught him how to be free, and how to find Avantasia. He says that Lugaid promised to help free Anna if he helped save Avantasia.

Lugaid said to go to Avantasia, to open the gate and not close it behind him (i.e, to learn to dream again and allow others to do the same). To stop people living in darkness, and allow them to tell stories and to dream (basically, defy the Inquisiton), or everyone will end up brainwashed.

Gabe tells the Voice that, sure, he’ll bring him the seal. But he still doesn’t know why any of this is happening, and he still misses Anna.

Then the Dwarf chimes in, and says that Gabe is just exhausted. One day he’ll realise what it all means. The gate is just a metaphor for the imagination, and the seal stands for works of fiction, that allow you to be imaginative and creative, and allow you to escape to another world (i.e, Avantasia) for a while. That’s all it is. The Church doesn’t want people to dream of these fantasy worlds, so they dress them up as ‘wicked dreams’.

Elderane says that, whenever Gabe feels lonely, he can come back to Avantasia.

How do you now all this ??

This is spot on. Obviously this guy has listening to his Metal Opera thoroughly.
