imho, the song contains so much sadness.. for the love that had gone.. and for the present love that never will as sweet as the first&worst ("dream"),
although she claims "someone else has stolen my heart".. this will never be the same... it sounds a little bit, like some nostalgic grieving, but paralelly it's an anthem to love.. "smiling faces, so in love.. against the world.." etc.
