Lyric discussion by ChloeKitten

I agree with Stars', I'm sure it's meant to be "Diehard." :]

I think this song's just about a social outcast, who's looking back at all the people who have hurt him, and is now finding he's getting some sort of revenge. "I'm just a punk that's going nowhere." This line, to me, suggests something he's been told, rather than stereotyping himself as a punk, which fits with the following line, and the tone it's said with, "I hope you're right." The 'burning down' of all the 'pretty buildings', I don't believe is literal. It seems more figurative, more metaphorical, like perhaps the 'pretty buildings' are standards? Thus, he's going to burn down standards/stereotypes and become something they didn't expect?

All in all, I think this is an amazing song, and I love it. I've always sung the line, "I'm all alone with just one worry, where I'll drink tonight.", as, ""I'm all alone with just one worry, where I'll dream tonight.", which just... sounds better to me, and fits more with the song.
