Cover art for Manifeste lyrics by Bérurier Noir

«Manifeste» is French for "Manifesto." This song is basically a list of things the singer hates; a rough-hewn outburst that is more like a battle-cry than a manifesto. Here's a translation:

I hate my country and I hate France, I hate the fatherland and I hate people, I'm nothing but a survivor of the red army's soldiers, Don't believe anything else and kill yourself.

I hate the power [rough slangy translation] annd I hate orders, I hate the laws and I hate force, I'm nothing but a survivor of the black army's soldiers, I'm nothing but a survivor and kill yourself.

I hate the army and I hate war, I hate priests and I hate hate, Oh I hate weapons and I hate tears, I hate toys and I hate bombs, I'm nothing but a suvivor of the blue army's soldiers I'm nothing but a survivor and kill yourself.

Soviet Socialism, Militaristic cataclysm, Alternative success,

Anarchy in the republic... Anarchy in the republic... Anarchy in the republic... Anarchy in the republic... Anarchy in the republic...

I love the riff. And the drum machine makes a cool clocklike ticky-tock sound.
