I think that means he was a 'bad' guy, but now he's so in love, then when he finds out his girlfriend is cheating, he's not terribly hurt because he's done that to someone before, and being with her sister would be something he'd do (hence the bad boy streak).
and "there ain't no blood on my hands love" means that he's not the guilty one here--she is.
