I like most of the opinions. My thing is that it seems like you are all dwelling on the negative points of the song. I think, although he is asking why he should care? or what's worth dying for? But the beauty of this band is they give you the answer... "I am the reason you are the reason to abandon everything we have become". What IS worth dying for and what IS worth caring about is each other, our relationships, friends, family and loved ones. Everyone who is there face down in the shit with us to help us right back up! All of the other stuff in life, the "repetition" pales in comparrison . I see this as an amazing and uplifting song.
