Sunrise
The day’s work is now done The legs are tired, the arms are heavy And the head now completely empty
Ask me how it came so far How many steps are done? Nevertheless I will continue I still want to see something different
I come to peace and sink therein I find now the true sense Weigh now my soul-lead In the late sunset
Life has so many sides That I'm so often accompanied by Thoughts of the beautiful days Which I always carry with me
Those are truly the moments where I once gladly stood quietly In order to hold the moment I dispense my dreams
These things are for me Everything other than the daily duty Which really preserves pay Every word and every sound
Now I lean back relaxed I enjoy this piece of happiness I wait until the day breaks I see the light on the horizon
