I think this is one of those good/sad songs. It's about him feeling bad for going behind his lady's back and feeling guilty for getting caught. Very typical....still a sweet song. I love the way he sings the chorus!
I can relate to this song 100%. I screwed my ex-gf over twice for reasons I'm not even sure of. In "Where I Wanna Be", Donell Jones says he is full of lust and I guess that's my only excuse. I love my girlfriend and I don't know why I did the things I did. I'm just hoping she gives me that one and final chance to show her how important and special she is to me.
