I'm not exactly sure what this song means, though it seems to be about a doomed relationship. (Like Lacuna Coil do so well at expressing about.)
To me it seems to be about not being able to be with someone you love. Or in more detail, about having someone who loved you, and then when you finally begin loving them, they don't want you. You were too late to "have" them. Now the person is driving you crazy, and you can't stop thinking about them. (And "can't stay away" from them either.) I have MANY more ideas, however that idea seems to make the most sense to me.
This is quite possible my favorite Lacuna Coil song, though I have many. I feel I can really connect with this song. Cristina has so much passion in her voice when she sings this, and it makes the whole song flow so nicely. It leaves me with the feeling of a pit in my stomach. Such a beautiful song.
