I heard this song for the first time upon seeing the trailer of Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft's upcoming top franchise-game). And I was astonished. Not only by the game but by the song that was used.

I keep thinking about its meaning...
I think it's something about a person who wants to be different from others. This community we live in, this consumption... it makes us some sort of zombie, we just follow what is fed to us. And I think this person really wants to get loose from all of this.
He wants to live his life.
And these lonely souls are the people that are still in that consumption... those who are not free...
you can compare it to a mix of Matrix and Plato.
