This is the first song I've heard from this band. It's brilliant.
I think everyone's got the right idea, but I especially like MalachiAD's take on it. The whole "girl who takes things to the extreme because she was bored with her life, which was probably more or less, lonely" seems like a rather shallow/spoiled girl. It sort of reminds me of that book Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. It's about the fashion industry and the main character's a model who does something horrific to herself (although it wasn't suicide) because no matter what she did, she was pretty much bored with her life (I think it was because nobody truly noticed her). Which in turn makes a connection with the Victoria's Secret fashion show, yeah?
That probably only made a little sense since it had nothing to with suicide or religion, but I hope it helped.
