I think the second verse pretty much tells the whole story.
"Don't make me a chapter/I want to be the whole of the book." She doesn't want to be just a moment or a passing relationship with the guy. She wants to be involved with him till the end.
Other than that, I'm not completely sure about the first verse. Maybe the first line is something she was saying to her boyfriend or whoever, literally, and it got her thinking figuratively about life.
The last verse, I think, is just her saying she doesn't want anything to happen between them.
