How has no one commented on this song? It's so beautiful. I'm not sure what the entire song is about but I'll elaborate on a few lines.:
"We form restrictions and we form lines
We separate you from me"
In life we hold ourselves back by setting imaginary limits. Or possibly it's about how we are sometimes not open and tolerant and we place barriers that unfortunately keep us apart rather than bring us together.
It could be about a relationship where the two people already have ideas of how they want things to be or what they want the other to be, and neither of them are willing to bend and therfore they grow away from one another and may lose each other.
I love when he says "we just bleed together that's when we realize"
As I'm writing this it's coming to me that maybe the song is about compromise in relationships, willing to see things from anothers view....but this could be totally off.
My favorite lines are:

These ripped out pages of old coloring books where your
Gold is silver, my blue is gray
Its all held together by cellophane tape"
Make things right. Gold is silver, blue is gray.... people see colors or things in general differently..sometimes you don't see eye to eye. But if you want to make itwork you have to let go of
preconceived notions "n my head I've got everything I want in you"
So maybe its about 2 people who were in a relationship and things went sour because what I said in the beggining but then they realized or are realizing what they needed or need to do to make it work.
