it starts with a heart-monitor slowing to a flatline. then the song discusses death, what is it like? the chorus is God's words to us, both upon receiving His new life and upon entering into His eternal rest. i absolutely love the line "you are not the only one who feels like the only one." (that line belongs with the next stanza, by the way, not the chorus)
then at the end there's a classic bell alarm clock ringing louder and louder and louder till it cuts out and the song fades to a simple heartbeat.
