this is such a good song...sad. my french isn't very good but pour que l'amour me quitte means "so that love will leave me". to me (because of my bad french it is too poetic to understand). but i kind of get the feeling her love is dying in the hospitol, and she doesnt want to feel lover for this person anymore because they are dying and it will hurt her. but there are so many things that i am just translating literally taht dont make sense.
