some lyric corrections: "before the burst of tangerines takes you there" and "castles of stone southern glory".

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's completely incorrect. The line "before the burst of tambourines takes you there" is in reference to Jimi's Band of Gypsys as is "castles of stone soul and glory"-Castles Made of Sand/Spanish Castle Magic. This song is a tribute to fallen rock icons and personal hero's of the writer - Hughie Thomasson. i.e. - Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Buddy Holly.

@jkw Tangerines ~ That’s cute. There’s nothing psychodelic (sic) in this song. And as Jmbone08 said, the lyrics on this site are correct. Tangerines bursting - that’d be a helluva sticky mess. The only thing burst is yer bubble
