Im bipolar and this song is annoyingly catchy, my best friend sings it to me in an affectionate way and so I dont find it all that offensive. BFS may not have meant it in an offensive way if they are deeper or whatever, but people listening to this song who know nothing about the disorder wont give two hoots. For that reason I dont like the idea of it, in affect its taking the mick, and people wouldnt do that to someone who self harms, is schizophrenic or bulimic, this shouldnt really be any different.
But hey, I would listen to them as they are catchy, but theyre pretty whack, their lyrics arent really about anything theyre just there for teenagers (like myself) to listen to as its catchy.
