I think "take my hand you ugly girl" is saying that he realizes that true beauty is within, and all is beautiful, even an ugly girl. As for the midget provoking violence, I think it is a reference to the song Mourning Glory on the album Pure Guava. In this song, someone (Gener?) is on a (morning glory?) trip talking to pumpkins, and a "little man" is cussing them and berating them for using drugs. Maybe this song is saying that in their early days, they didn't understand drugs as well, used them irresponsibly, and didn't get the right message from it.
