The line "You’ll never take what’s been given to us" reminded me of how so many people are/have been trying so tirelessly to take away Israel's land. I'm not sure if that goes in with the rest of the song, but that just jumped out at me when I heard that lyric.

About ForgottenAngel17's comment, I think that's just one more great thing about P.O.D. I heard in an interview that they make an effort for their songs to be heard as the listener wants to hear them. Their music is just so versatile. Reminds me of Luke 8:8-10, which says this:
8And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
